EXTERNAL WALL INSULATION – SOLID WALL INSULATION
External wall insulation (EWI), also known as solid wall insulation (SWI), is an extremely effective means of insulating solid walls and is an effective way of increasing the energy efficiency of your property.
Approximately one third of the heat lost from your house is lost through its walls.
The application of an External Wall Insulation system will dramatically reduce your home’s heat loss, cut heating bills and improve the external appearance of the property, possibly increasing its value too!
External Wall Insulation is an insulation layer installed on the exterior of a property, followed by one of many decorative finishes which require little ongoing maintenance.
EWI is the ideal thermal barrier for solid wall houses and older buildings in general.
Specifically suited to single skin walls, solid walls, prefab houses and timber frame buildings, external wall insulation is the ideal solution for these types of buildings and other properties that do not have cavity wall insulation. Or as an addition to poorly insulated homes.
