After waiting two years for another contractor to 'not' start our EWI, Richard Brown Plastering were able to start within a month of providing a competitive quote. Dealing with Andrius was a pleasure and he was thorough and responsive in planning the job and adjusting for any issues along the way. Richard Brown Plastering made a brilliant finish to our bungalow. We had problems with damp penetrating through old pebble dash and Richard advised on external insulation which we are pleased to say has worked a treat with no damp coming through and the finish looks really really smart. Absolutely incredible! Our house needed urgent renovation and new rendering to prevent from condensation causing dampness in the house. I was looking for house insulation with silicone render. After questioning many contractors, it was clear that Richard and his team were true professionals in their field with years of experience. I was given genuine advice and couldn’t ask for better customer service. Entire project was greatly executed and Richard and Team went always above and beyond if I needed help or additional alterations. Andrius was always to hand if I had any queries and everyone in the team executed their work with a smile. Fabulous company! They fitted external wall insulation to my huge end-of-terrace gable wall and kitchen, and it has made such a difference. I have nothing but praise for the project management, quality of the work, attention to every single detail, colour match of the render, tidiness and clearing-up, as well as the quality assurance as the job progressed. Everyone on the job was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Just a word of advice… This work is very weather-dependent; it is not going to happen the week after next. Be patient, because Richard and his team are absolutely worth waiting for. I have already asked them back to do a further job. Update.... And the magical team returned to re-render the old wall adjacent to the EWI they had done. This was a job with some nasty surprises in the brickwork underneath the old render but the finished work is superb. Once again, communications, quality assurance, workmanship and immaculate clearing-up were all 5-star. (And they power-washed the steps, too, without being asked!) The cost was so reasonable, even taking into account the terrible state of the failing brickwork, which revealed itself as work began. I cannot recommend this company highly enough.
